Kathleen Tennant

Kathleen Tennant has over twenty years of work experience. Kathleen began their career in 1997 as a VAX Computer Operator at Berryville Graphics. In 1999, they joined Ultraprise Corporation as a Software Tester and eventually became an Associate Software Tester in 2000. From 2001 to 2010, they worked at Stanley Associates, Inc. in roles such as Lead Quality Assurance Specialist and Functional Area Manager. In 2010, they moved to DMI (Digital Management, Inc.) as a Corporate QA Manager and Project Control Specialist for the United States Coast Guard (USCG). In 2015, they joined Veris Group, LLC (now Coalfire Systems) as a Director of Federal Quality Assurance. In 2020, they began working at IT Concepts, Inc. as Vice President Quality and Compliance. Currently, they are the Director of Quality at Fortreum.

Kathleen Tennant obtained their Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee between 1987 and 1991. Kathleen then went on to receive their Masters of Science in Strategic Leadership (MSSL) from Mountain State University between 2002 and 2004. Kathleen also holds certifications in Black Belt from Six Sigma (obtained in August 2014), ITIL Service Capability: Planning, Protection, and Optimization (obtained in 2013), PMP from the Project Management Institute (obtained in November 2009), and ITIL Foundations v3 (obtained in 2009).
