Your Mission

We are looking for an Accountant with reliable accounting procedure skills to join our team in Málaga. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing a reliable P&L and Balance of the company and providing effective accounting and administrative practices that help the existing Finance Team to perform analytical review of the financial statements, generate accurate cash forecast and prepare fiscal and Legal information on time.

What You'll Do:

  • Book clients and supplier’s invoices in the accounting program.

  • Book prepaid expenses and accruals in the system.

  • Verify all back up documentation to be correct according to tax and legal requirements.

  • Update key information to allow generate analytical P&L.

  • Confirm that the information included in the accounting program is complete and accurate.

  • Collaborate and give support to Finance Team/Controlling with daily tasks, records, reviews, filing.

  • Ensure all files are current by maintaining accounting records and documentation.

  • Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.

What You'll Bring:

  • Very good knowledge of the PGC.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office specially with Excel program.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (B2) and Spanish, both in written and verbally (Our operating / company language is English, but a knowledge of Spanish is a bonus).

  • Minimum of two years of accounting experience.

  • Having experience in working with Sage (ERP) and SII environment will be valued.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast paced environments: Technology, Product, UI/UX, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy, with strong work ethic, accountability, and ownership of work, as well as confidentiality and efficient time management.

  • Long-term mindset: You do not find a candidate to only fill a position, you think about the whole company picture.

  • Proactively come up and implement ideas to improve the accounting procedures.
