Anja McAlister

Anja McAlister is the current Deputy Chair at Fortum. Anja has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Dovre Group, Renewa Oy, Cargotec Corporation, and Fingrid Oyj. In addition, McAlister has been a Member of the Supervisory Board for Kemijoki Oy and UPM-Kymmene. Anja began their career with Electrowatt-Ekono Oy (Pöyry Group) in April 2000 as Head of Management Consulting before moving up to Vice President of Pöyry in December 2013, Executive Vice President in March 2015, and Senior Vice President in September 2017.

Anja McAlister has an MBA from Oxford Brookes University, a Master’s Degree in Energy Technology from Lappeenranta University of Technology, and they are a Proteus 2012 from the London Business School.
