Karoliina Kauppinen

Karoliina Kauppinen is a legal professional with extensive experience in compliance, ethics, and corporate governance. Currently serving as Director of Legal, Compliance and Ethics at Fortum since February 2024, Kauppinen previously held the position of General Counsel at GPV from November 2022 to February 2024 and had a long tenure at Enics from January 2012 to November 2022, where roles included General Counsel, Director of Legal and Compliance, Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Compliance, and Legal Counsel. Prior experience includes a Senior Associate position at Bird & Bird LLP and serving as a Senior Research Officer at the Finnish Competition Authority. Kauppinen began a career in law as an Associate Lawyer at Roschier, Attorneys Ltd. after earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Helsinki in 2005.
