Katariina Repo has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Financial and Operational Procurement Services at Fortum since 2022.
Prior to this, they worked at UPM Raflatac from 2018 to 2022 as the Customer Service Director, where they led a customer service and technical support organization of 100 people. Katariina transformed the scattered country-based customer service organization into one EMEIA-wide organization to implement a digital B-to-B customer experience.
Before UPM Raflatac, Katariina worked at UPM - The Biofore Company from 2013 to 2017. Katariina served as a Project Director, leading a companywide feasibility study for Global Business Services. During this time, they created a new service delivery operating model and center of excellence concepts. Katariina also held the role of Vice President, Financial Services, leading a global financial services organization of 450 people.
From 2009 to 2013, Katariina worked at UPM Communication Papers, first as the Manager of Business Control, Paper Business Group, Sales and Supply Chain, Northern Europe, and later as the Manager of Inventory Planning. In these roles, they were responsible for financial analysis, target follow-up, and inventory management processes.
Before UPM Communication Papers, they worked at UPM Specialty Papers as the Customer Service Manager from 2004 to 2009, where they led and developed a customer service team.
Katariina's career began at ABB, where they worked as an Accounting Specialist from 1997 to 1999.
Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in finance, customer service, project management, and organizational transformation throughout their career.
Katariina Repo holds a Master of Science degree in Economics with a specialization in Industrial Accounting from the University of Jyväskylä.
