Satu Sipola

Satu Sipola has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Satu started their career as a Trainee at VTT in 2002. In 2003, they joined Fortum as a Design Engineer and progressed to roles such as Manager of Safety Engineering, Manager of Process Engineering, and Advisor in Nuclear Safety Engineering and Process Engineering. Satu then became the Head of Department in Nuclear Engineering before transitioning to the role of Head of Development in Operational Excellence. Satu also served as the Head of Strategy and Development for Co-owned Assets and Nuclear Services, and later for the Generation division at Fortum. Currently, Satu holds the position of Vice President for Hydrogen and Project Execution at Fortum.

Satu Sipola completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1998 to 2003. Satu also obtained an Executive MBA - Master of Business Administration in International Business Management from Tampere University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2018.
