Pete Humiston

Pete Humiston has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Pete is currently the Research & Content Lead at Fortunafi since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Builder at a Stealth Start-Up starting from February 2022.

Before joining the start-up, Pete held various positions at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange. Pete served as the Head of Research, Kraken Intelligence Research from July 2020 to February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Analyst, Kraken Intelligence from July 2018 to July 2020.

Pete's earlier experience includes working at Jefferies. Pete was an Equity Research Sales Associate from December 2017 to July 2018. In this role, they assisted senior colleagues in covering hedge funds and mutual funds and completed numerous IPOs and stock deals. Pete also worked as an Equity Research Sales Analyst at Jefferies from June 2015 to December 2017.

Pete began their career as an Equity Sales & Trading Intern at Jefferies in 2014.

Pete Humiston attended Naperville Central High School from 2007 to 2011. Pete then went on to study at Indiana University Bloomington from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance. In addition to their formal education, Pete Humiston has obtained certifications in various fields. Pete completed the Deep Learning Specialization and the TensorFlow in Practice Specialization from deeplearning.ai in April 2020. Pete has also passed the CFA Level 1 exam, administered by the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute.
