Sydney Smith

Sydney Smith has extensive experience in human resources, starting their career as a Sales Associate at Bath & Body Works in 2011. Sydney then moved on to work as a Human Resource Intern at National Galvanizing, LP in 2012. After that, they joined The University of Toledo in 2013, initially as an Office Assistant and later as a Graduate Assistant in the College of Graduate Studies. In 2014, Sydney joined Fortune Brands Innovations and held various roles, including HR Coordinator, HR Analyst, HR Generalist, HR Manager, Senior Human Resources Manager, Director of Human Resources, and finally Senior Director of HR - Global Manufacturing & Operations Strategy. Their roles at Fortune Brands involved leading global HR teams, supporting plants across multiple countries, and partnering with business leaders to identify and resolve issues. Throughout their career, Sydney has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, talent management, employee relations, and training.

Sydney Smith earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and Services from The University of Toledo in 2009-2013. Later, in 2013-2014, they pursued a Master of Business Administration in Leadership from the same university. In 2015, Sydney obtained additional certifications in Fundamentals of Project Management, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, and Korn Ferry Voices 360 from Project Management Institute and Korn Ferry, respectively.
