Alexis Hunot

Alexis Hunot possesses extensive experience in the field of animation film festivals and education, serving in various roles since 2006. Currently, Alexis works with the Anim'est International Animation Film Festival and Cinanima, focusing on programming, session presentations, and conducting interviews with competing filmmakers. As the artistic director of PIAFF, Alexis oversees the evolution of the festival, which includes multiple competitions and thematic sessions. Additionally, Alexis teaches the history of animation at Atelier de Sèvres, is a member of the Animation Committee for the Césars, and frequently moderates and presents at various festivals and conferences worldwide, specializing in French animated cinema. Alexis holds a degree in cinema history from Paris 8 and has studied at Concordia University.
