Jacques van den Berg

Jacques van den Berg has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2005, they became the Managing Director of Magnaclad Protection Systems, specializing in armor products in Iraq. In 2006, they founded and led Magnaclad Remote Site Support, where they managed the procurement of various supplies for the Angolan Government. Jacques also served as the Managing Director of Bushfleet, providing technical support to the National Demining Project in Angola. In 2007, they became the Managing Director of Framebuild, focusing on light steel frame construction technology. From 2008 to 2014, Jacques was the Managing Director of Moya Homes, overseeing construction projects in remote areas throughout Africa. In 2013, they became the Managing Director of MineralDesk Software, a desktop cataloging system. Jacques then co-founded Trademesh in 2017, an immersive messaging platform, and later co-founded minfind, a company they worked on until 2019. Most recently, Jacques joined FORUS - Global Digital Exchange as the Chief Operating Officer in 2022.

Jacques van den Berg attended the University of Cape Town from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Management Information Systems.
