Prior to Social Jack, Dean founded Forward Progress, a Digital Marketing Agency that offers integrated marketing services, including digital thought leadership and social media strategy. Dean has helped over 400 corporate clients improve their online social networking results and has trained and coached over 450,000 professionals in relationship marketing, social selling, and career advancement.
Dean has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they developed and instructed a career course focused on utilizing the power of social networks to advance one's career.
Earlier in their career, Dean worked at JDS Group as the VP of Sales and Marketing, overseeing national accounts and sales development. Dean successfully expanded the company's client base to include large corporate accounts.
Dean's entrepreneurial journey began with Delcom Systems Group, where they served as the Founder and CEO. The company started as a consulting firm focused on accounting systems installation and grew to provide network installation, call center, telecommunications, custom application development, and CRM solutions. Delcom Systems also became a prominent provider of hardware from IBM, Dell, Compaq, and HP.

Dean DeLisle attended Purdue University from 1980 to 1982, where they studied Business Management. Dean then transferred to DePaul University, where they continued their studies in Business Management from 1982 to 1985. During the same period of time, they also attended the Chicago Computer Learning Center and obtained a Certified System Programmer degree in Computer Programming.
Prior to college, Dean DeLisle attended Gavit High School from 1977 to 1980 and obtained a Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General.
In 2010, Dean attended Wright and focused on Leadership studies until 2017.
