Ajay Madan

Ajay Madan currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at Forward Therapeutics, Inc. since January 2024. Ajay is also an Instructor at UCSD Extension, where Ajay directs the course on Selecting Promising Drug Candidates. Previously, Ajay held the position of Chief Development Officer at Crinetics Pharmaceuticals from July 2016 to April 2022, and served as Vice President of Preclinical Development at Neurocrine Biosciences from May 2002 to July 2016, focusing on DMPK and toxicology studies, FDA negotiations, and strategic discussions on drug development. Prior to that, Ajay was the Chief Scientific Officer at XenoTech, LLC from 1994 to 2002, overseeing DMPK contract services and product development. Ajay holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from The University of Kansas and a B. Pharm. in Pharmacy from BIT Mesra.
