Akanksha Hande

Akanksha Hande has worked in various roles in the engineering field since 2012. In 2012 and 2013, they were an Engineering Intern at PTC. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Michigan Technological University. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Design and Development Engineer at InspiRx Inc., where they designed a breath enhanced nebulizer for delivery of aerosolized drugs to ventilated patients (Patent pending) (US WO 2019/236896). Akanksha also presented their research at the International Society of Aerosols in Medicine (ISAM) conferences. Her most recent role is a Hardware Engineer at Forward, which they began in 2020.

Akanksha Hande obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Production Engineering from COEP Technological University between 2010 and 2014. Akanksha then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Technological University from 2015 to 2016. Akanksha also holds certifications from InspiRx Inc. in CFR 820, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
