Betsy Uribe

Betsy Uribe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and sectors. From 2010 onwards, they have worked at Fòs Feminista, where they held various roles including Associate Director of Governance & Partnership and Senior Advisor of Governance & Sustainability. Prior to that, they were an Office Manager at Valeocon from 2009 to 2010. From 2005 to 2010, Betsy was the Administrative Director at Museum Masters International, where they oversaw administrative and financial management. Betsy also worked at AFS Intercultural Programs from 2001 to 2004, serving as the Partner Director for AFS DOM, where they managed exchange programs and ensured administrative and financial management. Betsy was also the Administrative Director at Uribe Fiberglass, S.A. - Dominican Rep. from 1998 to 2001, overseeing financial management and the Human Resources Department. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Officer at Caribbean Export Development Agency from 1997 to 1998, where they coordinated training activities and international projects. Betsy's earlier experience includes roles such as Commercial Officer at the Embassy of Israel in the Dominican Republic and Executive Director at Dominican-Israeli Chamber of Commerce, where they promoted business contacts and coordinated commercial events.

Betsy Uribe obtained a Bachelor of Sciences in Managemente from Ecole Internationale des Affaires et du Management in 1990-1993. Betsy then pursued a Post-Graduate degree in International Management from the same institution in 1991-1994. In 2021-2022, Betsy Uribe completed an MBA in Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Innovation & Digital Transformation from thePower. Betsy also holds additional certifications, including a Human-Centered Design Certificate from LUMA Institute and a Certified Knowledge Manager certification from KM Institute (KMI), obtained in 2021 and 2018 respectively.
