Danielle Weiss

Danielle Weiss is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental advocacy, sustainable tourism, and event management. Currently serving as an Executive Assistant at the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative since January 2025, Danielle has also owned Original Routes since January 2016. Previous roles include Executive Assistant at Stand.earth, where collaboration focused on prioritizing environmental and social justice, and various positions at Hollyhock, including Conference & Groups Manager. Danielle's earlier career includes significant contributions as a South America Project Manager at the Planeterra Foundation/G Adventures, where project development and partnership management were central, along with a foundational experience as a Sustainable Tourism Coordinator. Education includes a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, complemented by studies in International Development at Trent University and ongoing business development education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
