Alan Panter has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alan has held various leadership roles in different companies.

Alan started their career at Tesco PLC as a Customer Service Representative and Cash Accountant. After that, they worked at the British Standards Institution Training Academy as a Student.

Alan then joined Price Waterhouse as a Manager in the Advisory department and later moved to Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager in Consumer and Industrial Products.

Alan then worked at Premier Foods as the Group Financial Controller, where they were responsible for internal and external reporting, acquisitions, and disposals of branded foods businesses.

Alan also worked at ED&F Man as the Director of Finance, leading projects and implementing Hyperion globally. Later, they joined Noble Group as a Controller in Switzerland, focusing on rebuilding the finance organization and establishing control.

After that, Alan worked at Bata Group as the Group CFO (ad interim), EU Finance Director, and Group Controller, where they partnered with global retail, wholesale, and manufacturing operations.

Alan then joined Wesfarmers as an Interim Leader before joining Fossil Group, Inc. as the CFO & SVP EMEA, where they played a key role in transforming the business to be consumer- and digitally-led.

Currently, Alan is serving as the Head of Transformation, International, SVP at Fossil Group, where they are leading the transformation and integration of Fossil's International Region capabilities and partnering with various organizations on change projects.

Alan Panter obtained their ACA degree from ICAEW between 1994 and 1997. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Human Geography from King's College London, from 1991 to 1994. Alan attended The Forest School Academy Trust from 1984 to 1990. In terms of certifications, Alan Panter obtained a Circular Economy: Transition for Future Sustainability certificate from MIT Professional Education in January 2023. Alan also holds a CASI Level 2 Instructor certification from the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors, obtained in 2003.
