Damian Fernandez-Lamela has over 25 years of work experience. Damian began their career as a Systems Analyst at Bank BGN SA, where they managed the bank's main system and developed their corporate website. Damian then worked as the Founder and Director of Fernandez Lamela & Assoc., providing consulting on e-business and IT Strategy. Damian also audited cash transfers for the Social Security Administration during this time.

Damian later joined Bago Pharmaceutical as a Business Intelligence Systems Analyst, where they analyzed market data using data mining techniques to identify high-value customers and increase marketing efficiency. Damian also redesigned business processes and developed online applications to improve productivity.

In 2001, Damian joined Allianz as an Information Security/Internet Management Officer, where they managed the IT security of the entire company and led the development of a B2B Extranet for insurance brokers. Damian's next role was as an Associate Professor of Marketing at National American University. Damian then joined DELL as a Manager of Global Marketing Analytics and Media Optimization. In this role, they optimized over $1 billion in advertising investments, managed a team of marketing analytics experts, and led worldwide marketing analytics efforts.

Damian then served as a Senior Director of Analytics at Omnicom Group (AT&T) and later as a Senior Director of Marketing Analytics at RealPage. Damian's most recent role is as the VP of Data Science & Analytics - Global at Fossil Group.

Throughout their career, Damian has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, marketing analytics, IT security, and market research.

Damian Fernandez-Lamela completed an MBA in Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in 2005. In 2004, they completed a Postgraduate program in Ebusiness Management at the Universidad del Salvador. Damian also pursued studies in Information Systems at the Universidad Kennedy. In terms of certifications, they obtained a certification in Social Media and Communities Professional from Dell University in 2011.
