In 1939, Max and Verda Foster founded Foster Farms, now the largest poultry processor in California. Foster Farms runs hatcheries, ranches, feed mills, processing plants and refrigerated delivery trucks. It also operates Foster Farms Dairy, which processes and distributes milk via eight facilities located throughout California.
