Kara Culpepper

Kara Culpepper is an Associate Attorney at Foster LLP since July 2023, previously holding the same position at Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP from October 2018 to May 2023, where responsibilities included managing a high volume of corporate immigration cases and overseeing a team of paralegals. Prior experiences include serving as a Staff Attorney and Law Clerk/Immigration Assistant, assisting with corporate immigration cases and legal document preparation. Additionally, Kara acted as a Student Attorney at Southern University Law Center Clinic, drafting pleadings and communicating with clients, and worked as a Law Clerk for the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System. Early legal experience includes a role as a Judicial Intern at the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal and a Legal Intern with the Louisiana State Bar Association. Kara Culpepper earned a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Pre-Law from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
