Te tūranga – The role

Our Project Support Office (PSO) is currently seeking an energetic Administrator to join their team. This interesting and diverse role is tasked with ensuring timesheets are submitted weekly, generating of customer invoices and creation of monthly reports. 

You will also provide support to the Project teams in the form of setting up of projects, creating tasks, minute taking and running ad-hoc reports.

This role includes Finance driven tasks; therefore, this role will suit someone who has a love for numbers and is comfortable using spreadsheets.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensuring timesheets are submitted and accurate.

  • Generation of all customer invoices.

  • Produce monthly board reports.

  • Creation and Administration of Projects in Workfront.

As a key member of the PSO team we’re looking for someone with a solid experience in similar administrative roles, preferably in an IT environment. It is essential that you have the ability to communicate effectively, have strong organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and, of course, multi-task! 

We are seeking an Administrator with the below attributes: - 

  • 0 - 1 years’ experience in an Administration or similar role.
  • A sound knowledge of the MS Office suite in particular a strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy and understands the importance of deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • A motivated, hardworking, and pragmatic outlook.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Workfront and MYOB Advance would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Some knowledge of Finance, project management methodologies processes and tools, as well as IT related technologies and organisations would be beneficial.
