Austin Relton

Austin joined the practice in 1993 after studying at the University of Edinburgh. He initially worked on Imperial College London before leading the delivery of the Sage Gateshead, a regional music centre on the Gateshead’s river frontage. In 2008 Austin relocated to Abu Dhabi in 2008, where he now runs the regional office. Having overseen the construction of Masdar Institute, he is currently working on the Mobility Pavilion at EXPO 2020. Austin grew up in Yorkshire with a love for the outdoors and sport. He has a passion for cycling and takes part in local races in the UAE.
