Ann Thompson has extensive experience in crisis intervention and human services. Currently serving as a Mobile Crisis Outreach Counselor at Foundation 2 since January 2018, Ann provides counseling and resources to individuals and families in crisis. Additionally, Ann interns at the Rape Victims Advocacy Program while pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of Denver, gaining valuable experience through crisis line support and outreach. Ann's background also includes significant roles in human resources at Premier Parts Inc. and volunteer work at Waypoint's Madge Phillips Center, where responsibilities involve providing trauma-informed care, facilitating support groups, and assisting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Ann holds an MSW focused on Mental Health and Trauma Informed Care and has earned multiple degrees in Human Services and Accounting.

Foundation 2 is a non-profit human service agency that offers crisis prevention and intervention programs to people of all ages. We are committed to positive youth development, suicide prevention and helping build the foundation for stronger and healthier families and safer communities for everyone. Our services include a 24-hour crisis phone line, chat and text support, a youth shelter, independent living support for young adults, family counseling, support groups and Mobile Crisis Outreach.
