Armen Orujyan is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in technology and innovation. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Curio Ventures since January 2022, Armen also holds the position of Founding CEO at the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST) since June 2017. As a Founding Member and Investor of the Science and Technology Angels Network (STAN) since February 2018 and a member of the Asia Society Global Council since December 2019, Armen actively contributes to advancing science and technology initiatives. Previous roles include Strategic Advisor at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies Inc. until February 2024, Member of the Board of Directors at the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy from April 2017 to April 2023, Managing Partner at IgnitedSpaces, and Director of Innovation at Madison Springfield, Inc. Armen founded and chaired Athgo International, a platform fostering entrepreneurship among youth, from March 1999 to November 2017. Educational credentials include a PhD in School of Politics and Economics from Claremont Graduate University and a BA in Political Science and International Diplomacy from UCLA.
