Tanya Garbolino

Director, Workforce Development at FOUNDATION FOR CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY COLLEGES

Tanya Garbolino has extensive experience in strategic leadership, program management, and finance in various organizations. From 2016 to the present, they have been the Director of Workforce Development at the Foundation for California Community Colleges, where they lead the design and expansion of Fresh Success, a program that helps CalFresh recipients become employable. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2016, they held several roles at the Public Health Institute, including Program Manager, Grants and Contracts Specialist, Director of Finance and Operations, Manager of Social Change Marketing Campaigns, and Manager of the California Children's Power Play! Campaign. In these positions, they managed obesity prevention, wellness, and nutrition projects, oversaw grants and contracts, supervised financial operations, and directed social change marketing campaigns. Tanya has a strong track record of securing funding and building partnerships to support initiatives aimed at improving health and workforce development.

Tanya Garbolino holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management and Marketing from California State University-Sacramento. Additionally, they have obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing, also from California State University-Sacramento.
