Hussain Abdul-Hussain

Hussain Abdul-Hussain is a Research Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies since July 2021, specializing in Gulf countries, their relations with Iran, and peace prospects with Israel. Previously, Hussain served as Washington Bureau Chief at Alrai Media Group Co. from January 2008 to June 2021, and as Senior Producer at Alhurra from February 2004 to March 2007. Prior to that, Hussain was the Managing Editor at The Daily Star from January 2000 to January 2004. Hussain completed Master's coursework in History at the American University of Beirut from 1996 to 2001.
