Janet Mockovciak

Patient Advisory Committee at Foundation For Sarcoidosis Research

Janet Mockovciak serves as a Board Member at the University of New Mexico Harwood Museum of Art since July 2020 and has held multiple roles within organizations focused on health and education. As a member of the Patient Advisory Committee and Development Committee for the Foundation For Sarcoidosis Research since July 2021, Janet contributes to advocacy and development efforts. In addition, Janet chairs the Education and Public Programs Committee at the University of New Mexico Harwood Museum of Art, and is part of the Council of National Trustees at National Jewish Health. Janet co-founded Dallas Afterschool in September 2006 and has maintained a longstanding commitment as a Board Member. Janet's earlier career includes significant roles in service quality and management at various financial institutions, including Vice President positions at First Horizon Home Loans, Bank of America, Sunbelt Savings, and First Texas Savings. Janet holds a BA in International Relations and Affairs from American University, obtained between 1975 and 1978.
