Patient Advisory Council & Speakers Bureau at Foundation For Sarcoidosis Research

Leanne West currently serves as President of iCAN Research, ensuring the voices of children guide healthcare innovations, while also holding the position of Chief Engineer in Pediatric Technology at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Additionally, Leanne actively contributes as a Board Member and Secretary for the Georgia Technology Authority, appointed by David Ralston, and serves on the Patient Advisory Council and Speakers Bureau for the Foundation For Sarcoidosis Research. Leanne is also the Pediatric Innovation Catalyst at the Global Center for Medical Innovation and holds the role of Principal Research Scientist at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Formerly President and CEO of Intelligent Access, a startup focused on wireless captioning systems, Leanne has been involved in various educational and research roles since beginning a career in academia and technology, complemented by a Master's degree in Physics & Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
