Rakshith Bellam

Rakshith Bellam is a high school student currently attending Adlai E. Stevenson High School, with an expected graduation date in May 2025. Rakshith has gained significant experience in various roles, including Research Assistant positions at the University of Michigan and the University of Illinois Chicago, focused on sustainable finance and communication, respectively. Additionally, Rakshith serves as a Fellow at Non-Trivial and a Campaign Fellow for Mary Peltola for Alaska. Engagement in outreach and marketing efforts for MEGA League, along with committee membership at the Illinois Juvenile Justice Commission, highlights Rakshith's commitment to community involvement. Participation in the Foundation for Teaching Economics and advocacy with Citizens' Climate Lobby showcases a strong interest in economics and environmental policy. Previously, Rakshith held the position of IL State Policy Director for the American Youth Association during the summer of 2024.
