Rachel Fischer

Rachel Fischer serves as a Scientific Project Manager at the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health, where responsibilities include leading a multi-stakeholder research partnership focused on common metabolic diseases. Previously, Fischer held various positions at the Melanoma Research Alliance, culminating as Associate Director, managing grant processes and a patient registry for melanoma research. Fischer earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University, focusing on glaucoma pathophysiology, and has contributed to multiple publications and presentations. Additional experiences include advocacy work for the American Heart Association and various research roles at institutions such as the University of Minnesota.
