Sam Mooney is the current Communications Officer at the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health. Prior to this, Sam was a Sr. Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Charles River Laboratories from June 2017 to May 2019. Before that, Sam worked as Circulation Manager at Avon-Washington Township Public Library from September 2014 to June 2017. In this role, Sam was responsible for managing the library’s social media platforms, as well as the library’s Google account. Sam also helped setup and maintain the radio frequency ID (RFID) check-in/checkout system and trained other employees on its use. In addition, Sam developed and setup the text message notification system for the library, to inform patrons when materials were due or when held items were available for pickup.
