Bernard Fendler is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in computational biology and a strong academic background in physics. Since May 2015, Bernard has served as a Senior Scientist and Computational Biologist at Foundation Medicine. Prior to this role, Bernard worked at Brigham and Women's Hospital from January 2014 to May 2015, where responsibilities included leading copy-number variation analyses and developing innovative computational models. Bernard's early career includes a position as a Computational Postdoctoral Fellow at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from 2009 to December 2013, focusing on cancer-related biological phenomena through quantitative approaches. Bernard's academic credentials include a PhD in Physics from Florida State University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
