Jerry Mitchell M.D.

Jerry Mitchell MD, MBA, is a highly experienced medical professional in the field of oncology. Currently serving as the Precision Genomics Oncology Director and Director Field Medical Oncology at Foundation Medicine since February 2021, Jerry previously held the position of Medical Oncologist at American Oncology Network, LLC from January 2019 to January 2021, and at The Mark H. Zangmeister Cancer Center from July 2003 to December 2018. Jerry's medical training includes a Medical Oncology and Hematology Fellowship from Wake Forest University, a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, Jerry holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Wake Forest University.
