Michael Kling

Michael Kling joined Foundation Medicine in April of 2019 and was named Chief Technology Officer in October 2022. He has over twenty years of technology leadership experience in the healthcare and biotech spaces, as well as a deep passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives.

In his role as CTO, Mr. Kling leads the Technology function and is responsible for helping Foundation Medicine transform cancer care by creating innovative digital products, scaling and streamlining technology platforms for business operations, and generating insights through data solutions. He is also committed to creating a culture of creativity, collaboration, and inclusion in all his teams.

Mr. Kling is a computer scientist and software engineer since his early career. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University.
