Ole Gjoerup

Ole Gjoerup is an accomplished scientific professional with extensive experience in research and publication management. Currently serving as Associate Director of Publications at Foundation Medicine since May 2020, Ole has played a pivotal role in advancing scientific communication through the publication of eight significant works in 2021 and the establishment of a cross-functional Publication Committee. Prior to this, Ole held prominent positions at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Tufts Medical Center, and the University of Pittsburgh, contributing to groundbreaking research in cancer biology and molecular mechanisms of viral oncogenesis. Ole's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from Tufts University, further complemented by a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
