Pierre Vanden Borre

Pierre Vanden Borre is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in translational oncology and biomedical informatics. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at Foundation Medicine since April 2014, Pierre has held multiple roles within the organization, focusing on clinical reporting and informatics. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, concentrating on targeted therapeutic approaches for BRAF-mutated thyroid cancer. Pierre earned a PhD in Molecular Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine, where research focused on cellular signaling in breast cancer. Earlier in his career, Pierre worked as a Curatorial Assistant at The Jackson Laboratory, contributing to genetic databases. Education includes a BA in Cell and Molecular Biology/Biochemistry from Colby College and completion of secondary education at The Hotchkiss School.
