Timothy P. Smith

Timothy P. Smith is a Clinical Bioinformatics Analyst II at Foundation Medicine since June 2021, having previously served as Clinical Bioinformatics Analyst I. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where Timothy engaged as a Teaching Assistant, Biology Peer Advisor, and Biology Major Ambassador, facilitating student success and advising in the Biology Department. Timothy also led a student-run exhibit project for the UMass Amherst Natural History Collections Club and was involved in biological research as a laboratory student in zebrafish neurobiology. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Lifeguard at Medford Boat Club and as a Teen Intern at New England Aquarium. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Natural Resources Conservation and Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
