Kim T. Folsom

Kim T. Folsom is the founder, chairperson and CEO of Founders First Capital Partners. Kim has also served as an adjunct professor at National University, teaching graduate-level courses in strategic business management, global marketing strategy, operational management, financial management, corporate technology innovation, entrepreneurship and venture financing of start-up and early stage companies.

Before their work in academia, Ms. Folsom was the founder, CEO and Chief Revenue Officer of ShowUhow, Inc., a company that developed and delivered video-based instructions for do-it-yourself projects. Kim grew the company from its inception in 2008 to a successful exit in 2014.

Ms. Folsom is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and has been instrumental in helping to launch and grow numerous businesses. Kim is a sought-after speaker and advisor, and their work has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, Entrepreneur and Inc. magazines.

Kim T. Folsom holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BSIS with a Major in IDS and Minor coursework in Economics from San Diego State University.
