From 2018 to 2020, they were the Program Manager and Mentor at Startup Boost. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Founder of Winnow Health, a bootstrapped healthcare tech startup. From 2011 to 2015, they were an Executive Business Partner at Electronic Arts (EA). From 2010 to 2011, they were in Product Development and Global Publishing at Warner Bros. Entertainment. From 2009 to 2010, they were in Consumer Products and Creative Services at DreamWorks Animation. From 2007 to 2009, they were the Co-Founder and Advisor at SetMD. From 2007 to 2009, they were a Freelance Production in the entertainment industry. From 2003 to 2007, they were the Chief of Staff for Professor Sherry Turkle at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Sonya Tateosian has completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Studio Arts from The Evergreen State College.
