James Mattox

James Mattox is a Partner with Foundry Commercial and leads the retail leasing and brokerage team for the Carolinas. He has been active in the leasing, brokerage, and development sourcing of retail properties for over 25 years. He specializes in out parcel and land sales, site selection for local, regional, and national retailers, restaurants, and developers and has been involved with numerous developments and redevelopments of single tenant assets, grocery-anchored assets, and power centers that have a mixed-use component. James is a graduate of Wake Forest University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

James is married and has four children. He is an active member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church and enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, traveling, surfing, biking, hiking, golfing, and anything involving his family.
