Richard Monaghan

Richard Monaghan is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and technical leadership across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Foundry since October 2022, Richard previously held roles at Morningstar and Refinitiv, where Richard supported exchange feed handlers and modernized a C++ Linux application for AWS deployment, respectively. Before that, Richard contributed significantly at Thomson Reuters, acting as a technical lead for a new infrastructure system and ensuring the maintenance of Gissing products. Richard's career began at Gissing Software, where major contributions were made to the development of a flagship server application, following an early position at QinetiQ focused on unmanned aircraft simulation. Richard holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University.
