Robert Fanner

Robert Fanner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in engineering and project management. Robert began their career as a Project Engineer at Stone Three Venture Technology, providing engineering consultancy services in digital signal processing solutions. Robert later worked as an Independent Consultant and Research Engineer at Redimension Ltd. and Heligon, respectively, where they gained experience in software engineering and research in image processing techniques.

Robert then joined Foundry, where they held several leadership roles, including Katana Lead Engineer, Mari Lead Engineer, and Plug-Ins Lead Engineer. In these positions, they were responsible for software project management and engineering, collaborating closely with product managers and QA engineers to plan releases. Robert also managed teams of software developers and contributed to the development of complex tools and applications used in the film industry.

Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated expertise in software development, project management, and applying Agile methodologies.

Robert Fanner completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch from 1995 to 1999. Robert then pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Sc.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, specializing in Digital Signal Processing, from 1999 to 2002 at the same university.
