Ryan Marschang

Ryan Marschang is a seasoned private equity investor with extensive experience in global cross-border investments, currently serving at FountainVest since March 2024. Previously, Ryan worked at The Blackstone Group from May 2017 to April 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing deployments of over $2.5 billion across various sectors such as consumer products, energy transition, and technology, while also holding board director roles for multiple billion-dollar portfolio companies. Prior experience includes engineering at ExxonMobil for the Kashagan mega-project, founding member of the Dorm Room Fund, and serving as a teaching assistant at The Wharton School. Ryan holds a BSE in Finance and Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master's in Economics and Business from Schwarzman Scholars at Tsinghua University.
