Ryan Ashley has a diverse work experience in the distillery and brewing industry. Ryan started their career in 1994 as a Brewmaster at Libertyville Brewing Co. d.b.a. Mickey Finns Brewery. Ryan then moved on to become a Brewmaster and Director of Operations at Unlikely Cowboy, Restaurant and Brewery from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they joined SABMIller Brewing as a Brewery Work Group Manager until 2007. From 2007 onwards, they have been associated with Four Roses Distillery, holding various roles including Assistant Director of Operations, Director of Distillery Operations, COO / Director of Operations, and currently as the Chief Operations Officer. Additionally, in 1996, they worked as a Judge at GABF / WBC.
Ryan Ashley's education history includes multiple institutions and fields of study. From 1995 to 2000, they attended Siebel, where they focused on brewing. In 1998 and 1999, they studied fermentation/brewing science at the University of California, Davis. In 1996, they attended Doemens Brewing Academy, specializing in Bavarian brewing. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, they pursued psychology at Marquette University. Finally, from 1986 to 1989, they completed their high school education at Pulaski High School.
