James Jacobsen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Most recently, they worked as a Design Lead for FourKites, Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held roles at A.P. Moller - Maersk as the Head of Product Design for TradeLens and as the Design Manager/Lead Product Designer for the same platform from 2018 to 2023. During their time at A.P. Moller - Maersk, they streamlined design processes, improved development efficiency, and led a team of designers and researchers to achieve data-driven design decisions and iterative prototyping.

Before that, James worked at iPullRank as a Senior Visual Designer in 2018, where they conducted user testing, provided UI/UX design analysis, and developed marketing collateral. James also worked at Ziff Davis as a Senior UI/UX Designer from 2012 to 2018, overseeing design projects and generating increased user engagement. James also worked as a Designer, leading the design on major website redesigns.

James completed their high school education at Montgomery High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma.
