Erik Schamper

Erik Schamper is an accomplished Principal Security Researcher at Fox-IT, with a career that spans over seven years in various roles, including Senior Security Researcher, Security Researcher, Security Expert FoxCERT, and Threat Analyst. Responsibilities encompass threat hunting, reverse engineering, innovation, development, and incident response. Erik began his journey at Fox-IT as a trainee, focusing on incident response, reverse engineering, and forensic tooling. Prior to Fox-IT, Erik co-owned Devbit from December 2013 to March 2021. Erik holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, obtained in 2016.
