Matthew Mayer

Matthew Mayer currently serves as the Superintendent for Fox River Grove School District 3, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew Mayer was the Assistant Superintendent and Director of Learning and Programs at Morton Grove School District 70 - Park View from July 2017 to June 2023. Additionally, Matthew Mayer was Principal of Beach Park School District #3 from August 2013 to July 2017, overseeing the operations of a K-5 elementary school with 450 students and planning professional development for 30 certified staff members. Earlier roles include Assistant Principal at Belvidere Community Unit School District #100 and Dean of Students at Big Hollow School. Matthew Mayer earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University Chicago, along with a Master's degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences Education from Illinois State University.
