Stephen Hanrahan

Stephen Hanrahan is a seasoned musician and educator with extensive experience spanning over 29 years in performance and teaching instruction, particularly in Horn and Brass. Currently serving as a Paraprofessional at Branson Public Schools since August 2023, Stephen has also held various performance roles, including principal horn with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and utility horn with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Stephen has contributed to prestigious venues such as the Fox Theatre and The MUNY in St. Louis. Stephen’s performance background includes collaboration with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and a significant tenure as a professional musician through Hanrahan Performance, where numerous students have achieved recognition in Missouri All District and All State Bands. Stephen holds a Master of Music in Music Performance from the University of Missouri-Columbia, complemented by studies at Northwestern University.
