Jeff Paulus

Jeff Paulus has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing, promotions, production, and videography. Jeff began their career in 1996 as a radio personality for WZOQ-FM and WFGF-FM, where they also worked as an announcer for Top 40 and New Country music formats. From 2000 to 2003, they served as a Promotions/Production - Newscast Director at WOHL-TV, where they directed newscasts, created promotional spots, and produced image and topical promos. Jeff then joined WANE-TV as a Weekend Director in 2003, directing evening weekend newscasts and producing topical promos. From 2003 to 2014, Jeff worked at WLIO/WOHL-TV, where they held various roles including Morning Director, Promotions Producer, and Creative Services Director. In these positions, they directed morning newscasts, produced station image spots, managed marketing and branding efforts, and supervised website marketing content. Jeff also gained experience in sports production as a Matchday Production Assistant at Columbus Crew SC from 2017 to 2018. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Promotions Writer/Producer at WBNS-TV, where they wrote and produced promos, created social media video teases, and assisted with marketing efforts. Jeff has been with FOX19 WXIX since 2017, initially as a Promotions Producer and currently as the Marketing Director, responsible for creating promotional content, shooting footage, and operating software for news crawls. Additionally, they have been a Stock Video Contributor for Pond5 since 2015.

Jeff Paulus has an education history that includes attending Columbus State Community College from 2017 to 2018, where they pursued an Associate of Arts degree. Prior to that, Jeff attended Rhodes State College from 2001 to 2003, focusing on Digital Media. Additionally, Jeff obtained a Small UAS Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in October 2020.
