What You'll Do:

As a Staff Accountant, you will be assisting with our monthly accounting and financial reporting processes. As a key member of our fast-growing team, you will also have the opportunity to assist in the continued development, expansion, and improvement of accounting’s standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely posting of Accounts Receivable payments and deposits.
  • Perform new customer maintenance including new customer setup.
  • Ensure payable invoices are processed in timely manner consistent with company policy, accurate general ledger coding, process flow, and proper approvals.
  • Perform vendor maintenance including new vendor setup and continued maintenance of W-9s.
  • Accounts Payable and Vendor Management in Accounting System and AP Automation Software.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain strong policies and procedures as it relates to the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Assist in documenting standard operating procedures.
  • Provide accounting assistance to Finance and Accounting leaders and others; respond to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
  • Bank Account Reconciliations and General Ledger Maintenance
  • Assist as needed with daily operations, ad hoc financial requests and projects of the finance and accounting department. Collaborate with internal departments for variance analysis and inquiries.
  • Build solid cross-functional relationships across all units.
  • Other duties as directed and assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a corporate finance and accounting related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software preferred.
