Jeyakumar Vasagar

Jeyakumar Vasagar is an accomplished chef with extensive experience in the culinary field, currently serving as a Chef at Foxhills Club & Resort since January 2023. Previously, Jeyakumar held various roles including Sous Chef at Shangri-La Group from October 2021 to November 2022, Junior Sous Chef at LUX* Resorts & Hotels from January 2021 to September 2021, and Senior Chef de Partie at Shangri-La Group from October 2017 to September 2020. Jeyakumar began a culinary career as a Commis Chef at Centara Grand Island Resort in November 2009 and has progressed through notable positions such as Chef de Partie at Kanuhura Maldives and Demi Chef de Partie at Dusit Hotels and Resorts, contributing to pre-opening teams at several establishments. Education includes a craft course in Food Preparation from Sippo Academy of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and studies at Annamalai University.
